PRESIDENT
ALAN PETERS
BS Petroleum Engineering, University of Texas at Austin
37 years experience in various aspects of oil industry operations and technology development that includes seven US patents, numerous business start‐ups and supply of products and services to the oil industry. He is founding partner of Fivestones Energy, LLC. Alan is also founder and Director of Tarpon Pipe and Supply, LP., founder and Chairman of LatAm Forest Trading, a founding partner of Composite Lining Systems, LLC and Fivestones Ventures, Inc. He has 20 years experience as a non‐operating investment partner in many oil and gas drilling and production programs.
GEOLOGY
Jack Erwin
BS Geology, Stephen F. Austin University
39 years of experience in generating exploration & development prospects, with a heavy influence of acquisitions. Primary experience has been in the Permian Basin with some experience in the Rockies, Oklahoma and Texas Gulf Coast. All experience has been with small independents where responsibilities included all phases of exploration and development, from generation of the prospect to logging the well.
OPERATIONS
Kevin Widner
BS Petroleum Engineering, Texas A&M University
39 years of experience in management and business development with broad experience in reservoir, production, drilling and completion engineering in the Permian Basin, SE New Mexico and Oklahoma. He began his career with an independent oil and gas company and over the past 24 years has been either Operations Manager or VP of Production for privately held and Private Equity backed oil and gas companies in charge of all operations. Kevin is experienced in Geology and Land with extensive knowledge in acquisitions and divestures, production optimization, cost cutting, artificial lift, fracture simulation and waterfloods.
FINANCE
TIM SPENCER
BBA Accounting, Texas Tech University
39 years of finance and accounting and business management. He has served in executive management positions in Fortune 500 to start-up companies, including public accounting (KPMG Peat Marwick), banking (First American Bank and Bank One), real estate and manufacturing. Tim is a CPA and has been involved in all sizes of capital funding and equity structures.
LAND
Charlie McMillian
16 years experience in management of oil and gas properties. Acquiring and negotiation of mineral leases. Extensive knowledge of surface damages and settlement terms.
ACCOUNTING
L.J. GLASS
BBA / MPA Accounting, West Texas A&M University
16 years experience in all aspects of oil and gas accounting, joint interest billing, lease operations expense allocation and audit functions and settlement terms.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Jon Brickey
BBA Finance, West Texas State University
36 years of business start-up and management in the Permian Basin. His many years in finance, marketing, real estate investments and operations give him a broad base of business experience. He is founding partner of Fivestones Energy, LLC. Jon is a Director of Tarpon Pipe and Supply. He is also a founding member/partner of Composite Lining Systems, Huckleberry Equipment, Corp, Austin Fixe, LLC and Fivestones Ventures, Inc. Jon is a non-operating investment partner in various oil and gas ventures.
